Refund policy

a.k.a. “The 100% Happy Guarantee (with a splash of reality)”

At Swimmly, our number-one goal is your happiness — and your backyard pool bragging rights. 💁 Our 100% Happy Guarantee means if your Swimmly product fails under normal use within one year of purchase, we’ll happily send a replacement at no cost. Because no one deserves a sad tank.

Like all good things (and summer tans), our products have a shelf life when exposed to the elements — so after one year, it’s considered normal wear and tear.

If you just changed your mind (hey, we get it — commitment is hard), here’s the scoop:

  • You’ve got 30 days from the delivery date to start a return.

  • The item must be unused, in its original packaging, and looking as fresh as the day it arrived.

  • You’ll need your order number or proof of purchase (receipts > regrets).

  • Returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee — this covers the time and splash-proof tape it takes to get your gear ready for its next adventure.

  • You’re responsible for shipping the item back to us. (We’d love to pick it up by floatie, but logistics, ya know?)

To start a return, navigate to the footer of the website and click Start a Return - log in to your Shop account, grab the order you want to return and follow the prompts.  Once your item paddles its way back to us and passes inspection, we’ll issue a refund — minus that 15% restocking fee.

🚨 Damaged or Defective Items

If your order shows up looking like it lost a round with a pool noodle, contact us right away! Our 100% Happy Guarantee kicks in here — if your product arrives damaged or defective, we’ll replace it or make it right (because no one deserves a sad tank).


🚫 Things We Can’t Take Back

Some items just can’t swim back home, including:

  • Custom or personalized items

  • Sale items or gift cards

  • Anything that’s been used or splashed in (soggy returns aren’t our thing)

When in doubt, email us — we’ll help sort it out.


🔁 Exchanges

Want to swap for something else? The fastest way is to send the original item back (per the above) and place a fresh order for your new fave.


💸 Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll email you to confirm whether your refund has been approved. If it’s a yes (yay!), you’ll see it hit your original payment method — minus the 15% restocking fee — within a few business days, depending on your bank’s processing speed.


In short:
If it’s broken when it arrives, we’ll fix it.
If you changed your mind, we’ll still help — just within 30 days and minus a small splash fee.
Either way, we’ve got your back (and your tank). 💦
